Our Team

Robert Massey, Sr., the founder of the business, through his years of proven leadership in local and state Realtor associations along with his three terms serving as a governor-appointed real estate commissioner, laid a strong foundation for the business.  

This tradition and leadership has been carried forward by Robert Massey Jr., the company president and owner, who founded RentalHouses.com, a leading national internet listing service for advertising rental houses.  Rob, Jr. is now an industry leader and authority in property management and online-based services in the industry.  He writes articles and speaks regularly to property managers and agents across the country about beneficial services and upcoming trends in property management.

Teri Hall, General Manager.  Early in her work career Teri worked for five years as a legal assistant in a large local law firm wherein she gained a great deal of knowledge about contracts and a wide assortment of legal documents. Next, she went to work for a family construction business overseeing operations and company personnel where she rose to the position of General Manager during her 20-year tenure.  While there, she negotiated and was instrumental in acquiring another business to supplement revenue during slow periods of the year.  Over the period that she ran the company, it grew from one to five construction crews resulting in a dramatic increase in net revenue.

In 2005, Teri joined Robert Massey Company and was promoted to General Manager after a short period.  Her skills were quickly put to use in overseeing the daily operations and all aspects of the business.  Teri has great industry knowledge, organizational skills, a strong commitment to excellence, a great sense of urgency and provides much attention to detail.  She has earned the respect of clients, residents, merchants, vendors and colleagues alike, which makes her one of our most highly valued assets.

Karen Stephens, Property Manager.  Karen has been in the real estate industry for 24 years.  Prior to working in property management she developed her skills in residential home building while working with a large national home builder in the Louisville market.  During this period of her career she gained experience working closing with vendors, subcontractors, home buyers and investors.  In 1980 she was promoted to the position of a regional administrator and moved to Atlanta to over the administration of 13 offices in the Southeast Region of her company.  In 1996 she moved back to Louisville where she worked with a local homebuilder until obtaining her Kentucky real estate license in 2005 and launching her career in property management.  She is an active member of the National Association of Residential Property Managers and oversees multi-unit and single-family properties in Louisville, Shepherdsville, Mt. Washington, Radcliff and Vine Grove markets.  Karen has been a great asset to our company since joining our team in 2009.

Suzanne Duncan, Realtor heads up our Residential Sales Division.  Suzanne began her real estate career in 1987 and utilizes her years of experience to assist buyers and sellers in the sale and purchase of residential, multi-family and commercial properties.  Her vast real estate experience and strong attention to detail enable her clients to have the very best possible experience during their real estate transactions.  Call Suzanne today at (502) 643-4420.

Beth Hanke, Administrative Assistant.  Born and raised in Southern Indiana, Beth graduated from Purdue University where she earned a degree in elementary and special education.  She spent eight years teaching fifth and sixth grades before joining Robert Massey Company.  Her years of teaching provided organizational and people skills which she utilizes in daily interactions in both our Louisville and Radcliff offices.  Beth is well-trained in property management operations including tenant screening, leasing and our property management software.  We are pleased to have someone of her caliber.

Cory Britt, Leasing Agent.  Cory graduated from the University of Tampa in 2008 with Bachelor of Science in Marketing Degree.  Upon graduation she moved back to her hometown of Louisville where she has worked in the property management industry for the past three years.  Cory joined our team in May of 2011 where she is now involved in leasing, tenant screening and other administrative work.  Cory makes a great addition to our team and we are fortunate to have her.
